Committee Member & Diversity Executive Leadership Program Candidate (2020-21 Cohort)
Serving on Health Care Advisory Committee
Conducting research on “Health and Ethnic Disparities.” This project summarizes disparities in health care and will provide recommendations to health care associations and medical societies on how to address this crisis.
SUMMARY: Eliminating disparities in health care are important for improving overall quality of care and population health. Moreover, health care inequities are costly. Analysis estimates that disparities amount to approximately $93 billion in excess medical care costs and $42 billion in lost productivity per year as well as economic losses due to premature deaths.

Also, present findings on top issues impacting Medical Associations and their members such as burnout during the virtual conference.
